United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Gathers Nearly 15,000 Items for First Diaper Drive

New this year, United Way of South Wood and Adams Counties held a Diaper Drive between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Over 6,000 diapers, nearly 9,000 wipes, and 9 creams were collected by community members! Local agencies will be distributing these donations to families in our area.

Items collected:

·        Diapers - 6,018

·        Wipes - 8,934

·        Creams – 9

TOTAL Items Donated: 14,961

With 27% of Wood County households with children struggling to make ends meet, our Diaper Drive will help those who need the most support, our youngest community members.  Thank you to our donors for providing the diapers, wipes, creams, and monetary donations – the first Diaper Drive was a success!
