United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties has kicked off its 2023 campaign, which will run until October 31st. This year, our campaign chair is Brian Dewitt of ERCO Worldwide.
“Being raised in Central Wisconsin, I’ve seen firsthand the struggles of many of the local communities as the industries those community economies were built on experienced a precipitous decline while I was a teenager, and it let me see the importance of great organizations like the United Way. I’m particularly proud to be associated with the United Way because of the breadth and reach of the organization.” Said Dewitt.
“I’m proud to have been a supporter of the United Way for the past 20+ years, and I hope you will join me this year in supporting our community and making Wood and Adams counties a better place to live for everyone!”

- Participate in Community Wide Denim Day on October 6, 2023.
- Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner during United Way Day at McDonald’s on October 17, 2023 from 7am – 7pm (at the Wisconsin Rapids McDonald’s restaurant)
- Volunteer during our annual raking event Day of Caring on October 21, 2023.
- Buy a new holiday wreath! December 1-5, 2023, we are holding our online Wreath Silent Auction.
