Unbe-leaf-able: Hundreds Help Rake Yards in Day of Caring

Thanks to 448 volunteers, 80 yards were raked during United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Day of Caring on Saturday, October 21st!  This annual event matches teams of volunteers to local elderly and disabled residents who need help with their yards before winter.

“Our amazing volunteers really made our Day of Caring a big success! We are so thankful for each and every volunteer that came out on Saturday and spent time helping our elderly/disabled friends and neighbors with their yardwork. Thanks again to everyone who helps make this event happen.” said Day of Caring Coordinator Amy Fluno.
