WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI – Fall is in the air, and it's time to make a difference! United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties is calling on the community to grab their rakes and lend a hand for the annual Day of Caring event on October 25, 2025. We're looking for volunteers to help elderly and disabled residents with their fall yard clean-up.
This isn't just a day of raking; it's a day of community. Last year, 462 volunteers came together to make a huge impact, and we're hoping to match that incredible response this year!
How to Get Involved
• Sign up now! Visit our website at www.uwswac.org and click the Day of Caring banner to register.
• Pre-register to secure your free t-shirt (while supplies last).
• All volunteers will be served a free pancake breakfast to fuel up before getting to work.
• Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver, which can be found and downloaded from our website.
