United Way’s Women United would like to invite you to become a Learning For Life Reading Mentor for the 2023-2024 school year! We are looking for members of our community to mentor students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd on Reading – helping them to refine their skills, become better readers and ultimately have a higher level of success throughout their school years and far beyond. The commitment is up to one hour per week each week for the entire school year. We will be placing Mentors at Grant Elementary, Humke Elementary in Nekoosa, Mead Elementary and Washington Elementary. The program will begin the week of October 16th.
Anyone interested must complete the application and pass a background check.
