United Way of Inner Wisconsin recently announced it will distribute $491,252 in south Wood County and $30,500 in Adams County, for a total of $521,752, pending a successful fall campaign. United Way of Inner Wisconsin is currently in its second year after converting to a two-year grant process. Earlier this year, United Way accepted funding applications for programs that address “Financial Stability” and “Safety Net Services.” These programs will receive two year grants for 2019 and 2020. “Education” and “Health” programs are currently funded through 2019 and will be able to apply in 2019 for 2020-2021 funding. “We’ve made these promises to our partner programs, now we need the community to help us deliver,” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “The dollars we allocate to these programs come from our annual community campaign. That is why it’s important we have a successful campaign, to help fill these needs.”
